first impressions , this thing is pretty honkin huge , it is easy to adapt to , but after using the Protege’ all day it just seemed really big. It is built like a brick house and feels REALLY durable , at 6v the batteries last a good long time , but i did notice the vapor trail off a bit after about 4 hours of use.

nice warm vapor from the 510 atty at 6v and really great flavor. The button is nice and springy and easy to push with either your thumb or finger. It’s so shiny and smooth i just want to vape it non stop.

Protege Followup / Final Review

Sorry this video is up a little later than i wanted because the switch on my original Protege’ died after roughly 4 days of use. I sent it back to Casey and she fixed it up no problem and shipped it back. The whole process probably took no more than 4 days total.

anyway , holy crap the Protege’ is bad ass!
believe me when i say I’m being completely objective here , but this blows every other 3.7v device completely away. The batteries seem to never die and with the option of adapters for multiple atomizers the Protege’ probably makes it one of the most versatile device available.

This is not just another 3.7v mod , it’s machined out of stainless steel right here in the USA. It feels insanely durable and it keeps that “fresh of the charger” feel ALL-DAY-LONG.

i have had about a week and a half to use this and it has become my all day every day device without a doubt.

worth every penny i paid for it and then some.

901 to 510 Adaptor

A couple of week ago I bought an adaptor from Garry over at e-cigcity, hes got a range of hand made e-ciggy goodies.

901 to 510 Adaptor

The picture above is just to get an idea of what kind of length this would add over a 901 atty.
I wanted the adaptor because my favorite atomizer is the 510 and trog doesn’t sell 510 Screwdrivers… yet?

Well it doesn’t take away any performance from the screwdriver I’m using it on, but I am enjoying it a whole lot more since I have always preferred the 510 over the 901.

The finish on it is smooth, it would be nice if it was a little shorter but I am not too worried about that.

To sum it up it does what it says on the tin, allows you to use 901 batterys with a 510 atomizer.

I paid £15 for it including delivery, I know alot of people are making their own adaptors but I don’t even have a soldering iron anymore so this was the most convenient way for me.

Well worth the money to have a 510 with a battery that will last my heavy use all day long!
